Scroll through the 47 photos in the gallery at www.steigercraft.com and you’ll figure out quickly that the new 31 DV Miami was born to fish. It’s not just her bullet-proof 22-degree-deadrise that explains why this deep-V hull carries a lifetime structural guarantee. It comes from dedicated fishing folks. Observe the knife/tool racks on the after ends of the half-bulkheads behind the pilothouse and the (numbered) bins for sinkers that function also as toerails just inside the under-gunwale rod racks. Need more rod storage? How many would you like in the gunwales and the transom? How about a 7-rod rocket launcher on the after end of the pilothouse? Or a pedestal four-rod launcher in the huge cockpit? Tackle storage? Check the drawers under the port bench in the pilothouse and more in the cabin. With all that this Steiger flagship still offers plenty of optional family amenities, from refrigerator and microwave in the pilothouse to an enclosed head and V-berth in the cabin. Remember that Alan Steiger began with purpose-built, tough-as-nails clam skiffs. Rest assured that heritage still undergirds this sophisticated sportfisher.
Current Model Description by Steiger Craft

The 31 Miami is without a doubt the most off-shore ready fishing and family friendly Pilot House vessel on the market today.

Our already biggest in its class cockpit got even bigger. The 31 Miami?s helm features trim tab controls and large mounting space for today?s ?super-sized? electronic displays. Aft of the deluxe captains chair is the optional refrigerator.

The gigantic cockpit includes a large in-deck fish locker (120 Gal) and a 100 Gal in-deck livewell, over-head rocket launchers, recessed gunnel weight draws and rod storage.

The 31 Miami?s spacious cabin features enclosed head with porcelain toilet, large V-Berth, and stainless sink and counter space, as well as ample storage throughout. Air Conditioning/Heat with Shore Power/Inverter makes the cabin even more comfortable for overnight stays.

The Steiger 31 Miami features a 10 ft beam with a 22 degree deep-v deadrise. It?s the perfect size for taking down even the largest fish in any sea conditions, while offering excellent performance with efficient twin 300 HP power (350 twin optional). A 300 Gallon fuel capacity gives the 31 a ?canyon ready? 400+ mile range.

The 31 Miami?s hull is all hand laid fiberglass, built around an indestructible ?I-Beam? grid system that offers durability and a ridged core that reduces flex even under the roughest conditions. At Steiger Craft we build boats with the confidence that they will last a life-time, and we back it up with a Lifetime Hull Guarantee.
